Much to Camron's dismay I finally talked him into buying me a SLR Camera. I chose the Canon rebel XT, I just hope it performs well. I'm not a very good photographer so I hope that the pictures I take with it will be good. I have been doing a lot of research and people have said this is one to go with when converting over to SLR camera's. I hope they are right. I found a really good deal on ebay. So as soon as I get it and take some pictures I will post them and see what you think.

I LOVE my new SLR. I got the Nikon D40X (very comparable to the Rebel). The difference in quality is huge! Also, with kids who NEVER hold still, it's great to have the fast shutter speed. I think you'll really like it! One thing you will have to deal with is larger file sizes. Don't crash your computer and lose all your photos!
